FBA Week 4 Check In

(Orlando, FL) – The Florida Basketball Association (FBA) finished week 4 with the defending Champion Tampa Bay Rebels surging back to the front of the pack. Undefeated this year, the Rebels have won 5 straight games with no signs of slowing down.

The Florida Flight have dropped 3 straight, with their last loss coming from the streaking Heartland Prowl during the Flight’s season home opener in the most lopsided win in the history of the FBA: 150 – 92. The Flight get an opportunity to regroup with a bye next week.

The Heartland Prowl are coming off a successful weekend sweep of games by defeating both the Flight in Orlando and the Palm Beach Knights on their home court at Warner University. They have won 3 straight since their season-opening loss to the Rebels, whom they will play next weekend at Warner.

The Palm Beach Knights started off promising, losing 2 close overtime games to the Florida Flight in their home opening weekend. They’re still searching for their first win of the 2013 season. They are off until June 8th, when they will seek to avenge their first two overtime losses as they travel to Orlando for a double-header weekend against the Flight.

The FBA is a Florida-based professional basketball league providing a development, branding and exposure platform for athletes, referees and other individuals seeking to further their professional basketball career.
