The Florida Flight came up short, but veteran starting point guard Ernest Jones contributed a monstrous 25 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks in the Flight’s final regular season game against the Heartland Prowl on Saturday, July 20th.
This makes the 3rd Player of the Week award for Jones this season, who has been with the Flight since inception. Jones is in his 8th year of his professional basketball career.
The Flight finish the season 5-7, and will square off against the Prowl again in the 1st round of the FBA Playoffs.
